Pozycja Poprawa jakości środowiska zbudowanego a rola edukacji architektonicznej dzieci(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2018) Bernatek-Bączyk, Katarzyna; Kozień-Woźniak, Magdalena (Rec.); Pluta, Katarzyna (Rec.)"Prace nad niniejszą publikacją prowadzone były w latach 2011-2014. Moje zainteresowanie tematyką edukacji przestrzennej oraz jej relacji z jakością polskiej przestrzeni, niekorzystnie wypadającej na tle innych państw europejskich, wynika z kilku czynników. Świadomość znacznych różnic w uporządkowaniu środowiska zbudowanego i krajobrazu wyrosła na podstawie kilkumiesięcznych pobytów zagranicznych w Szwecji i Słowenii. Zainteresowanie edukacją architektoniczną wyniknęło natomiast z potrzeby przygotowania warsztatów dla dzieci w ramach Łódzkiego Uniwersytetu Dziecięcego. Podjęcie się opracowania zajęć, w sposób oczywisty skłoniło mnie do poszukiwania informacji o tego typu inicjatywach i ukazało zakres, w jakim są one prowadzone w Polsce i na świecie. W takim kontekście nie trudno było o refleksje i rozważania nad powiązaniami między jakością przestrzeni a świadomością społeczeństwa w dziedzinie architektury oraz działaniami edukacyjnymi w tym zakresie. Poszukując odpowiedzi na pojawiające się pytania, postanowiłam przeanalizować dwa aspekty – formy edukacji architektonicznej dzieci i architekturę obiektów dla najmłodszych. Dużo łatwiej uzasadnić pewne działania, jeśli można wykazać ich wymierne korzyści. Dlatego też podstawę tej pracy stanowią liczne dowody na to, że przestrzeń wysokiej klasy przynosi realne korzyści w wymiarze ekonomicznym. Wysokiej jakości środowisko życia przekłada się w sposób bezpośredni na samopoczucie, a wręcz na zdrowie jego mieszkańców. Dobre samopoczucie to większa wydajność pracowników a co za tym idzie także znaczna atrakcyjność miejsca dla potencjalnych inwestorów. To także zachęta do przebywania w przestrzeni publicznej, a więc budowania życia społecznego i bezpieczeństwa. Therefore, the main research problem is an attempt to answer the question of whether and to what extent the use of modern simulation programs in technical education affects the effectiveness of education? What are imagination and creativity in the creative process in terms of QEEG research? The effectiveness of education is a derivative of the activity of the cognitive process during learning. The main purpose of the research is to evaluate the work based on engineering projects carried out in the simulation program. Brain mapping using modern medical equipment allows for recording and observing the course of various waves and the magnitude of the potentials generated by the nervous system to determine the listener’s operability in the teaching process.Pozycja Earth – Humanity – Sustainability – Future – Education(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2022) Demšar, AndrejIn the article author introduces the problems and challenges of current world concerning sustainability. We have one planet and we should take care of it. Unfortunately, we are exploiting the Earth natural resources as they were endless. We, as humanity, use all natural resources, available in one year, in half of year. The 6th mass extinction of the animal species has begun. Four reasons for the sustainability crisis are defined (world economic system, overproduction, consumerism and set of values). The solutions for the sustainability crisis should not use the same thinking which we used when we created it. The stakeholders who have the power to make a change are defined (consumers, economy, legislators). Examples of good practices are presented (Green deal, Patagonia). Education is introduced as the strongest tool to make a long-term and long-lasting change. Values for the future and competencies for the engineers of the future are also defined. At the end it is concluded that your role in creating a sustainable world is extremely important. Be courageous and search for the solutions outside of the established practices. Search for the solutions with experts from other disciplines – think and act transdisciplinary. Be aware of all possibilities – act holistically.Pozycja Gamification in Accounting Education- Evidence From Logistic Course Experience(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2021) Fajczak-Kowalska, Anita; Misztal, AnnaThe study’s main goal is to indicate the possibility of using gamification in teaching the basics of accounting at a university. The authors implement the gamification model among logistics students at one of the universities in Lodz. The experiment involved the introduction of gamification during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. The classes were conducted using MS Teams and the Moodle platform. The study is theoretical and empirical. The first part presents the basic theoretical issue related to gamification and gamification in education; the second part shows a case study. The results of the implementation of gamification in teaching accounting are positive. This especially applies to remote and e-learning, when a student does not have access to “physical” laboratories. Technologies based on virtualization and containerization can help a lot to deliver the infrastructure. Unfortunately it requires a significant amount of administrative work, because many tasks simply have to be done manually. This article explains the current situation for Infrastructures and Network Applications (INA) specialization at Institute of Information Technology. It also describes how the educational infrastructure could or should be managed in the future.Pozycja Zarządzanie kompetencjami służb utrzymania ruchu w dobie Industry 4.0(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2021) Kalinowska, PaulinaW świetle perspektyw rozwoju koncepcji Przemysł 4.0, a tym samym rozwoju wysoce zautomatyzowanych systemów, wzrośnie zapotrzebowanie na wykwalifikowanych pracowników utrzymania ruchu. Duże ilości danych i informacji muszą być poprawnie interpretowane i analizowane w krótkim czasie. Obecnie w wielu przedsiębiorstwach pracownicy utrzymania ruchu podejmują decyzje na podstawie swoich wcześniejszych doświadczeń, natomiast Przemysł 4.0 zakłada, iż podejmowanie decyzji będzie wspierane komputerowo. Dopiero w praktyce okaże się, jaki rodzaj ingerencji człowieka będzie dominował. Dlatego też rodzi się pytanie, jakie kompetencje będą wymagane od pracowników obsługujących zautomatyzowane systemy w celu przewidywania sytuacji awaryjnych oraz szybkiego rozwiązywania problemów? W rozdziale dokonano identyfikacji i analizy kluczowych kompetencji pracowników utrzymania ruchu w dobie Industry 4.0, a także przedstawiono perspektywy szkoleń podnoszących kwalifikacje zawodowe.
