The following topics are discussed: the diffraction geometry of X-radiation on the
spatial lattice of crystals, the atomie factor, the structural factor, electronic density
in crystals, and the development of X-ray methods of crystal structure investigations.
A short review of neutronography, electronography and applied crystalography is
presented. Results of diffraction structual investigations are illustrated with publications
of the research group of the author.
