XXVII Fluid Mechanics Conference, 23-26 June 2026 in Lodz: Book of Abstracts

Abstract

This Book of Abstracts contains the abstracts of presentations delivered at the XXVII Fluid Mechanics Conference (FMC 2026), held from 23rd to 26th June 2026 in Łódź. The FMC series (formerly Krajowa Konferencja Mechaniki Płynów) has been held biennially since 1974 at various locations across Poland, under the auspices of the Committee for Mechanics of Polish Academy of Sciences. The FMC 2026 edition is organized by Lodz University of Technology which is proud to host this edition of the Conference for the third time. Previous editions organized by the University were held in 1980 and 2000. The Fluid Mechanics Conference series is a leading regional event dedicated to presenting and discussing advances in fl uid mechanics research, development and applications. The FMC brings together researchers from both academia and industry, providing a forum for the exchange and discussion of ideas across the diverse fluid mechanics community. The Conference covers a broad spectrum of contemporary fluid flow problems, including fundamental and applied studies, novel experimental and numerical methods, and innovative applications. Th e presented contributions span the full range of topics defi ned in the Conference scientifi c programme.
