Abstrakt

The number of publications about creativity and innovation is growing once it may help organizations to grow and be more competitive. In theory the organization is interconnected with the levels of selfperceived creativity of its employees as well as the satisfaction for creative tasks. This research aims to study and analyse the perceptions from Portuguese textile and apparel designers. The objectives of this study where to (i) analyse and summarise the relevant about organizational connections with employees and their creativity and (ii) to confirm the statistical relation between the variables, as predicted in the analysed literature in order to contribute to the growth of industrial knowledge regarding organizational creativity in Portugal. The developed survey reached 114 replies (n=114) and data was analysed in order to meet the goals mentioned above. A symbiosis correlation between Organization Climate and Culture, Designers’ Self-Perceived Creativity and Job Satisfaction was confirmed with statistical significance.
