The method CST of speed control of mechanism is described in the paper. For experimentally verified model of carriage with load suspended on ropes and driving traversing mechanism the simulation tests are done. The control CST and trapezoidal control function, providing damping of load oscillations during steady motion and after all working
motion, are compared.
