Organization of the conference would not have been possible without a great effort of the staff of the Department of Automation, Biomechanics and Mechatronics. The patronage over the conference has been taken by the "Excellent Science" program of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science. It is a great pleasure that our invitation has been accepted by so many people, including good colleagues and friends as well as a large group of researchers and scientists, who decided to participate in the conference for the first time. With proud and satisfaction we welcome 748 authors from 52 countries all over the world. They decided to share the results of their research and many years experiences in the discipline of dynamical systems by submitting many very interesting papers. Katedra Automatyki, Biomechaniki i Mechatroniki., 2015) Wasilewski, Grzegorz; Kudra, Grzegorz; Awrejcewicz, Jan; Kaźmierczak, Maciej; Tyborowski, Mateusz; Kaźmierczak, MarekThe work is a continuation of numerical and experimental investigations of a system consisting of a single pendulum with the joint horizontally driven by the use of a crank-slider mechanism and DC motor. The power supplied to the DC motor is relatively small when compared with our earlier investigations, which results in clear return influence of the pendulum dynamics on the DC motor angular velocity and much more rich bifurcation dynamics of the whole system, including regions of chaotic behaviour. In the experiments, the motor is supplied by the use of different but constant in time voltages.
