Pozycja Activation processes for two chosen aromatic hydrocarbon materials(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2009) Kania, Sylwester; Kuliński, JanuszThe activation process and the transport process for electrons in the tetracene layers and holes in the p-quaterphenyl layers is considered. Obtained results may suggests the hopping transport through the localized states near the Fermi level as a dominant kind of transport. Observed dependence of the conductivity on the vapor concentration of the activator molecules may suggest that tetracene is better for utilization as a vapour sensors.Pozycja Electron drift mobility in amorphous anthrone layers(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2009) Kania, SylwesterThere were investigated the magnitude of the mobility and the type of the mechanism of the electron transport in the amorphous anthrone layers Enthrone (C14H10O) is the molecular crystal. The anthrone molecules due to theirs asymmetry posses permanent dipole moment, µ = 1.22 10-29 Cm. The anthrone samples were obtained by evaporation in vacuum under the pressure of the order of 10-5 Torr on glass plates with lower substrate temperatures. Structural examination of the obtained anthrone layers was made using X - ray diffraction. In order to attain that one employed an automatic diffractometer DAR. Drift electron mobility for obtained amorphous layers were determined with TOP method. Obtained results shows the almost lack of the mobility dependence due to the magnitude of the disorder, although the other results should be expected. Either obtained mobility value , less then 10-2 cm2/Vs and activation energy value on the kT level do not permit state unambiguously if we are here with hopping transport mechanism, or with the band transport with participation of the trapping states.Pozycja Charge carrier conductivity mechanism for activated tetracene layers(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2008) Kania, Sylwester; Kuliński, JanuszThe activation process and the transport process for electrons in the tetracene layers is considered. Obtained results may suggests the hopping transport through the localized states near the Fermi level as a dominant kind of transport. Observed dependence of the conductivity on the vapor concentration of the activator molecules may suggest some ability to utilize.Pozycja Hole drift mobility in antrachinon layers(Wydawnictwo Politechniki Łódzkiej, 2007) Kania, SylwesterThe drift mobility of holes in the antrachinon layers were determined. The layers were evaporated in the vacuum of the order of 10-5Torr. Due to the substrate temperature the layers were in the structure polycrystalline or the quasi-amorphous. There were no obtained the effect of the layers structure on the magnitude of the mobility of the carriers and on the transport mechanism.
