Abstrakt
The monograph "Legal measures taken to counteract youth unemployment based on the example of the District Employment Office in Lodz during 2014-2015" is dedicated to an important social phenomenon of youth unemployment. There is no doubt that from the perspective of Polish experience of the past decade, when movements of emigration have intensified especially in this layer of the society, instruments for preventing unemployment among this particular category of unemployed are vital and therefore this is the key subject of this study. It shows legal measures taken to minimize unemployment among young people under 30s from the perspective of the local labor market, presenting the scale of unemployment, which affected this category of people, in relation to other categories of unemployed and the unemployment occurring in other regions and
across the country, which as a result exposed the “Lodz’’ character of unemployment [...].
