dc.description.abstractArtykuł pokazuje złożony problem dotyczący istniejących mostów. G. Dalton w [1] pisze (tłum. autora): "Dzisiaj i jutro będą przeważać konstrukcje istniejące. Tylko mała część zasobów mostowych jest wymieniana każdego roku. Równocześnie społeczeństwo oczekuje, że zarządzający infrastrukturą sprostają nowym wymaganiom. Te wymagania to zwiększenie prędkości, większe obciążenie osi, wzrost dostępności, mniejsze zakłócenia i redukcja kosztów utrzymania. Również środowiskowe i estetyczne czynniki muszą być wzięte pod uwagę". Pokazane są wybrane rezultaty Europejskiego Projektu "Sustainable Bridges - Assessment for Future Traffic Demands and Longer Lives" i możliwości zastosowania ich w Polsce.pl_PL
dc.description.abstractThis paper point out the thorny issue for existing bridges. G. Dalton write: "Today and tomorrow existing structures are dominating. Only a small part of the bridge stock is replaced every year. At the same time the society expect that the Infrastructure Managers shall meet new demands. These demands are for higher speed, higher axle loads, increased availability, less disturbance and reduced maintenance costs. Also environmental and aesthetic considerations have to be considered". Chosen results of the European Project "Sustainable Bridges -Assessment for Future Traffic Demands and Longer Lives" and potential using them in Poland are shown.en_EN
