Abstract

Tematem artykułu jest rola indywidualnych studiów poznawczych w kształceniu i samokszałceniu architektonicznym, bowiem poprzestanie jedynie na teorii nie wystarcza. Dla istoty rzeczy ważny jest również bezpośredni kontakt z materią. W procesie rozpowszechniania wiedzy o teoriach i stylach architektonicznych podstawowe znaczenie ma przekaz pisany wzbogacony o wzorniki graficzne – współcześnie zaś także elektroniczny (internetowy) przekaz tekstu i obrazu oraz poznanie bezpośrednie (z autopsji). Wiedza o architekturze rozpowszechniała się kiedyś także przy okazji kontaktów handlowych i dyplomatycznych. Podróże studialne są jednak wyjątkową okazją dla pełnego odczuwania i utrwalania w pamięci obrazów architektury

The topic of the article is the role of individual cognitive studies in the education and self-education of the architectural. It’s not enough to just stick to the theory. For the essence of things, direct contact with matter is also important. In the process of disseminating knowledge about theories and architectural styles, the written meaning enriched with graphic templates is of primary importance – nowadays also electronic (internet) transmission of text and image as well as direct cognition (from autopsy). Knowledge about architecture has also spread in the course of trade and diplomacy. However, study trips are a unique opportunity for the full perception and perpetuation of architectural images
