For this purpose the tolerance averaging, developed for periodic composites and structurcs in the book (8], is applied to the known Kirchhoff-type plate equation. This method leads to averaged models taking inte account the length-scale ejfect on the overall plate behaviour. It was presented for thin periodic plates in [3].
