This is reflected in the requirements presented in the form of learning outcomes by several national and international engineering accreditation bodies, such as the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, established in the United States, but operating also in many other countries around the world. These global trends are also reflected in our National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education. One of the key abilities of a contemporary and future engineer is to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
