With the continuous progress of urban resilience research, scholars begin to combine typo-morphology theory with resilience theory. On the one hand, the typo-morphology method has great potential in assessing urban form resilience. On the other hand, there is a need to combine typo-morphological methods and resilience assessment to promote urban form practice. Based on the concept of ‘resolution’, this paper discusses the methodology of urban form resilience assessment. Firstly, it discusses the operability of urban resilience and the development of the concept of urban form resilience.
