Then thirty six (state for November 2008) operating Polish eco-industrial parks were characterised. Briefly, the following basie data on these eco-parks were presented: their names, management centres, shareholders, year of creation, business offer and additional encouragement for investors, number and activity of eco-park participants. With the use of these data three dominating organisational structures were distinguished, upon which the functioning of the aforementioned eco-parks is based. Additionally, various management systems in eco-parks were described. Further, two industrial parks in Goleniów and Stargard Szczeciński (West Pomerania, Poland) were presented in detail.
