This year's meeting is already the 27th of this series.Numerous participation of Polish researchers in the work of the IASS in the mid-1990s resulted in the establishment of the Polish Chapter of the IASS, which was the largest national group in the Association. The LSCE conference became a forum for meetings and a place for coordination of organizational activities.
