It highlights the role of socalled additional disciplines, such as humanities in the intellectual-spiritual development of future engineers. Certainly, extracurricular activities need to be conducted in the right way. They must be interesting for the audience, persuade, and never discourage or be dissuasive. This article is based on the didactic experience of the author at Rzeszów University of Technology.
